Beneficial microorganisms as affecting root development of upland rice
نویسندگان
چکیده
Multifunctional microorganisms can significantly affect root and shoot development of upland rice seedling that could provide an increase in the crop grain yield. The objective this study was to determine effect single combined microorganism on seedlings. experiment arranged a completely randomized design with treatments consisting seeds treated multifunctional (M01 (Serratia marcescens), M02 (Bacillus toyonensis), M03 (Phanerochaete australis), M04 (Trichoderma koningiopsis), M05 (Azospirillum brasilense), M06 species), M07 M08 M28 (combination these microorganisms) M29 (control – no microorganism). S. marcescens B. toyonensis led greatest (296%) length relative control. A. brasilense greatly increased surface area by 209% comparison An diameter 36% recorded for inoculated Bacillus spp. relation P. australis volume (47%) It be concluded enhanced length, area, volume, provided better development. Key words: Microbiolization, germination, beneficial bacteria, fungi.

Upland Rice and Allelopathy
Upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) is mainly grown in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Yield potential of upland rice is quite low and invariably this crop is subjected to many environmental stresses. Further, when upland rice is grown in monoculture for more than two to three years on the same land, allelopathy or autotoxicity is frequently reported. Allelopathy involves complex plant and plant chem...

“Microbes run the world. It’s that simple.” (Committee on Metagenomics, 2007). Microbial communities make the essential elements of oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur available for other life on our planet. Without microbial decomposer communities, life would be smothered in dead organisms. Microorganisms also carry out almost half of the photosynthesis on our planet, increasing oxygen levels...
متن کاملTechnologies for Beneficial Microorganisms Inocula Used as Biofertilizers
The increasing need for environmentaly friendly agricultural practices is driving the use of fertilizers based on beneficial microorganisms. The latter belong to a wide array of genera, classes, and phyla, ranging from bacteria to yeasts and fungi, which can support plant nutrition with different mechanisms. Moreover, studies on the interactions between plant, soil, and the different microorgan...
متن کاملBeneficial effects of probiotic microorganisms. A review
The aim of the present study was to describe the beneficial health effects of probiotic bacteria, manifested by inhibition of growth of pathogen microorganism strains and that of their colonization of the gastrointestinal tract of humans. The primordial mode of action by which a probiotic eradicates a pathogen can be facilitated by the production of antimicrobial substances such as bacteriocins...
متن کاملLow Light Availability Alters Root Exudation and Reduces Putative Beneficial Microorganisms in Seagrass Roots
Seagrass roots host a diverse microbiome that is critical for plant growth and health. Composition of microbial communities can be regulated in part by root exudates, but the specifics of these interactions in seagrass rhizospheres are still largely unknown. As light availability controls primary productivity, reduced light may impact root exudation and consequently the composition of the root ...
